UNCLE TED BBQ BINGO BASH

A little visit from Uncle Ted for you.  I love to BBQ, so we did every night I was home this weekend... and by home I mean sanctuary.  Ted's BBQs are a bit more intense than ours.  Ours were quiet without guests this time.  In fact, we did not see anyone else all weekend.  No complaint there.  Sometimes quiet and private is what you need.

Not much to tell about it really other than I got there and back safely.  We mostly made plans for the summer concerning the yard, the puppy and what kind of car I might want.  Fun stuff for sure, but boring for you.

It gets harder to leave each time.  I hardly had the car turned off... still in it when I called to let him know I was back safe.  We ended up talking for an hour and a half.  Now all I have to do is make it through the work week and get back down there.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends and did something you enjoyed.  Has anyone made any summer plans yet?

Hey... I'll race you to Friday!

  1. Ted! I remember putting on "Stranglehold" back in... was it '74? Anyway, it was my very first listen to Ted and I was hooked immediately. Magnificent metal guitarist.

  2. Suldog-- I agree. Ted is a marvel. He's certainly a one of a kind guy as well. I have enjoyed his music for a long, long time.

  3. The weeks fly by, don't they? Tell me they do! :-) haha!
I am trying to think in terms of how quickly time will go, but I also want to be careful to enjoy whatever time I have as it passes. Its all part of my life.

  4. laura b.-- I am very confused about time right now! My trip there seemed to take forever, my return flew. Today the work day is dragging its feet.

Time seems to be doing the opposite of whatever I want it to do.

  5. Boring sounds wonderful to me right now. Well, maybe not boring, but contentment in a healthy relationship. When relationships are "interesting", it's usually a negative thing. Ha ha.

  6. Churlita-- Ha! Good point. It really was the first weekend where we were just sort of us hanging out
without a particular plan. It felt very comfortable. You're right... content is the exact word.

  7. So far, just the normal week at the beach, but I do at least have the apartment rented and the days marked on the calendar.

  8. Oooohhh... my favorite place! I'll be going to the beach too, but probably not staying over. It's going to be only an hour away once I move. Yay!
