This little video was short and cute. Had to share it with the rest of you critter lovers.
petit montage d'images du film dog soldiers sur la musique de sonata arctica fullmoon :)
Dog Soldiers was a good werewolf movie. It starred an actor, Kevin McKidd, you may recall best from HBO's "Rome" as Lucius Vorenus or the more recent network series called "Journeyman". I liked that show, but like most shows I like, it was canned. Crap. The music in this is by a band called Sonata Arctica.

Okay, I admit it... this one was chosen for Sebastien, who was concerned about rodents on the moon. Rabbits and squirrels mainly. Well we found the "Rabbid"but no squirrels. Only these moon mice. Gosh only knows what that flying thing is!
I can certainly understand Sebastien's concern about rabbits. Have a look at this one. He's not on the moon, but he's as blood thirsty as any werewolf!
This song could explain why we might see rodents on the moon.
I taught this one to my kids when they were little. Bear wanted a "flying spoon"for Christmas when she was four. Hahahaha.
They sure do look happy singing away there.
You may have thought that this song by Creedence Clearwater was better suited to a moon post:
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Bad Moon Rising
I had fun with this one. A bit silly, but hey... you need silly now and then. Okay, fine... I need silly now and then.
On the home front, all is right in my world. Lorn has settled right in and I can hardly tell him from the rest of my brood. Both Bear and Boo called to make sure that he was doing alright. Yes. I think he is family. They all do too.
On the dark side of my moon...Today I begin the paper work with the lawyer on the divorce. Kind of scary. Change is hard for me. I'm also loyal way past "to a fault". I was raised to believe that divorce was unacceptable. Even though we both agree that it needs to happen, it feels so odd to be at this place where I never in a million years imagined that I would ever be. Then there's that damned looming unknown. Crap!
On the bright side of my moon... I have much to be thankful for and do indeed continue to feel blessed and grateful. My life is a grand adventure.
Happy Tuesday all!

Just catching up after a long weeknd away from the computer. I think I'd do more of a loping run on the moon. I'm not good at feet-together hopping.
ReplyDeleteHope the time with the used son is going well.
Hi there - I have a hard time commenting on your site from home for some reason. And I can't do it too much at work, but I try to read when I can. So sorry about the divorce steps. Doing the right thing for you two, as you know, is more important than your notion that divorce is not an option. I know you know this, else you wouldn't be doing it. But it doesn't make it any less difficult. Hang in there...
ReplyDeleteRabbids on the Moon, very cool. I may have to check this game out for Wii (or read some reviews beforehand). As a side note, you have to watch out for killer bunnies.
ReplyDeleteWe all need silly once in a while. I hope the big D process goes smoothly and quickly. Keep being thankful and happy Tuesday.
secret agent woman-- Wow. Deja Vu!
ReplyDeleteAll goes swimmingly with the used son, who fits in here like he was born into it.
You are not the only one who says that they have trouble from either home or their work computer. I'm glad you read when you can.
ReplyDeleteI myself have trouble on occasion leaving comments. I've found out that I have to be signed into blogger or it only lets me make anonymous comments. I don't even know how I get signed off, but I do. Anyway, if I sign in at the top of that person's blog again, it lets me. Don't know if that is your trouble or not.
Please don't stop trying. Thank you for your understanding about how the divorce is hard even though it is a good thing. Its just so darned bizarro!
aliencg-- How strange! I lost my post to you. Maybe Blogger is feeling peckish today.
ReplyDeleteDoes't Rabbid look fun? That killer rabbit has been terrorizing my ability to keep a straight face for about 40 years! Yikes!
Thanks for the encouragement... I need all I can get. Thankful... always. :)
I commented yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared. Weird.
ReplyDeleteChurlita-- I think that Blogger is really being weird lately. It does stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about the divorce. I can't imagine it is pleasant but at least you are looking on the bright side of the moon. Hope everything is indeed going well, and thanks for sharing all of the awesome links. I know your feeling about shows you like getting canceled. One of my favorites was "Life" and it is gone. And they almost dumped "Chuck." I did like that HBO miniseries "Rome." Good stuff. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMr. Shife hello! Hey, its life.
ReplyDeleteI loved Life too... with the guy who played Jonesie in Dreamcatcher. It was one of the few shows that I watched religiously. I hear that Chuck is still hanging on the edge. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Glad you enjoyed it... and that you stopped in. I'm hoping this means I get my Baby Shife fix. Big grin!
i loved all the clips - credence.....no eagles......bunny hopping....monty python............sad news about the marriage dissolution, though - it is so hard to be dis-illusioned and it tends to lead to dissolution....i am sorry
ReplyDeletecrazy4coens-- Thanks. I am a big believer in what will be will be. Oh no... I'm waxing Dorris Day!
ReplyDeleteMax took me for lunch at Big River Grill. Yum. A pint of G. Stout put a giggle back in my day.
My "three" boys are now deep in battle in some video game. There is cussing to make you blush. I know I am home and safe. What else do I need?
Well, besides THAT. (Wicked grin.) Glad you're there.
Ah, your posts are always so much fun! I think anyone who has read Bunnicula or seen Donnie Darko knows that mysterious rabbits bear watching...
ReplyDeleteI know you and your StbX have been separated for a long time, but I know it is a big final step actually making it legal. I hope it continues to go as smoothly as possible.
And keep on walking in the sun, you know? Yeah, you know :-)
Good post! And good luck to you! Sorry. I keep meaning to email you, but I have been feeling off.
ReplyDeletelaura b.-- Oh yay... Bunnicula! I am overly fond of those books. James Howe makes me happy. I adore Harold.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do this right and in a mature way if it kills him. Hahahahahaha Just joking. We are going to be okay.
Yeah, I know and I will. Thanks! Big wide grin.
Randi-- I've been meaning to email you too and have not gotten around to it. Apologies! I will tonight. I'm so glad you stopped in. Sometimes I get so involved in myself that I forget about the rest of life. Thanks for the sympathy. I eat that stuff up!
ReplyDeleteBless you, and best of luck, on the sad stuff.
ReplyDeleteCreedence in big doses will help with that, though :-)
OMG!!! I knew it! I knew it!!! The terrifying rodents are already on the moon. Shoot me now, we're done for. Those moon mice are worshipping some terrible demon god...
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I can't imagine about the divorce. Hopefully it is the best thing to do for everyone involved. I'm sure it's a gut-wrenching process, best wishes.
ReplyDeleteSuldog-- Thank you! Blessing are wonderful gifts.
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated, sir.
Sebastien-- Is that WTF that thing is! I'll be damned. Somehow I knew that you would know.
ReplyDeleteThanks kiddo for the support. Everyone here is wonderful... you included. It means a lot. I think I really am blessed.
Big cheesy grin.
